    There are several places to visit in Kalimpong and these places give you the experience you want from a hill station. This is a petite, ancient town that offers so much more than peace, beauty, and activities to enjoy. Kalimpong is a complete package and an ideal destination to visit in the state of West Bengal.

    1. Delo Park

    To start with, Delo Park is situated on Delo Hill which is the highest point in all of Kalimpong. It is located at an altitude of 5500 ft. above sea level. This place is ideal for honeymooners because it has a lot of amazing sights to offer. The entire park is covered with flower beds that make this place nothing less than heaven.

    While you visit here, your eyes get treated with the beautiful environment, your nostrils with the fragrance spread across the park, and your mind with utmost peace. Make sure you have the camera charged before visiting here.

    2. Pine View Nursery

    There are innumerable places to visit in Kalimpong and each one of them is so much better than the other. It is one of those rare monasteries that show a rare three-dimensional appearance. The building houses a huge collection of artifacts, and paintings, and flaunts its amazing architecture. This monastery is located on the popular Darpin Hill that is located 1372 m above sea level.

    4. Mangal Dham Pranami Temple

If you are a devotee visiting here, then Mangal Dham Pranami Temple is one place where you can head to offer your prayers to the lord. The temple sprawls across a huge area and is only a kilometer away from the bus station.

    This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and was established in 1940. It is yet another peaceful place where people love to spend hours and hours.     5. Kalimpong Science Centre

    Kalimpong Science Centre is another wonderful destination that is located on Deolo Hill and is about 9 km from the Kalimpong bus station. It is another wonderful tourist attraction that is visited by a lot of tourists throughout the year. It not only offers a breathtaking view of the surroundings but also gives a great time inside the building. It has a lot of equipment that can be used to know more about the scientific things going around in the world.

    6. Lepcha Museum

If yes, then Kalimpong does have an ideal attraction for you. Lepcha Museum is the place you should be heading off to. This museum has a rich culture and art collection of the indigenous tribe- Lepcha. This was the tribe that used to live here long back and their remains are collected and showcased in this museum.

    Morgan house is located approximately 3 km from the central point of Kalimpong. This is a huge mansion that was built by Mrs. and Mr. Morgan in the 1930s amidst the verdant green beauty of this place. This gorgeous place is still an attraction where a lot of people love visiting so that they can witness the nature beauty of Kalimpong; even though the surrounding area is said to be haunted by the locals.

    9. Tharpa Choling Monastery

    A beautiful Tibetan Buddhist monastery that’s located in Kalimpong is known as Tharpa Choling Monastery. It was established in 1912 by Domo Geshe Rinpoche Ngawang Kalsang and is known for its rich history and beautiful architecture. The monastery houses a large prayer hall, a library with a collection of rare Buddhist scriptures, and several meditation rooms. It is also home to a community of monks who follow the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Tharpa Choling Monastery is a peaceful and serene place to visit for those seeking a spiritual experience in Kalimpong.

    10. Thongsa Gompa

    Thongsa Gompa is also a very popular Buddhist monastery located in the town. The intriguing worship was established in 1692 and is one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Kalimpong.     It houses a large prayer hall, several meditation rooms, and a library with a collection of rare Buddhist scriptures.     11. Hanuman Temple
