    1. Lachung Monastery

    Just like any other attraction in Lachung, the Nyingma Buddhist gompa that goes by the name of Lachung Monastery is also a high-altitude structure. It is located at an astonishing altitude of 3000 m above sea level and it intrigues adventure junkies a lot.

The location of the monastery is more breathtaking because it overlooks the confluence of the Teesta River, Lachen, and Lachung rivers.     2. Bhim Nala Fall

    Approximately 13 km away from the village of Lachung is the Bhim Nala Falls which has a lot of religious significance. Usually, people come here on a sightseeing tour to enjoy the peacefulness and the azure river flowing through.

The attraction is located at an altitude of 4742 m which is why it highly intrigues adventure seekers, especially bikers.

    Another amazing destination near Lachung village is the Changthang Valley. It is an equally beautiful place that is located at an astonishing height of 1790 m. Chungthang is a small village that is approximately 30 km from Mangan. This is a popular village located along the Chungthang-Gangtok road. The already beautiful Sikkim looks spellbinding to the people whenever they visit the valley of Chungthang. The valley is not only important for travelers or tourists but for the Indian Army too. This is the major base region of the army and it also has a medical center for emergencies.
