- To reach this lake, you will have to cover approximately 220 km crossing the Hemis National Park.

- There are a few small camp colonies that are there around Tso Moriri and they become the perfect place to stay for a day and night.
8. Spituk Monastery
- The visiting timing of Spituk Monastery is between 8 am and 1 pm
- One has to pay a small amount of 20 INR as the entry fee.
- While visiting here, you will have to be very careful about following all the rules and regulations.
- Do not click pictures where you are not allowed to do so, and if you want a click with the monks, do take permission.
- The monastery is approximately 8 km away from Leh City and you can either take a taxi or hire a bike to visit here.

- Keep yourself warm and wear clothes in layers. This will keep you warm because although you are visiting here in June, it will still be cold.
- Get your Inner Line Permit before leaving Leh because that’s important for you to visit some protected attractions of the union territory.
- If you are traveling to Leh by air in June or any other month, as a matter of fact, it is advised to stay in Leh for a couple of days at least. This will help you in taking care of Acute Mountain Sickness. It is important for your body to acclimatize according to the altitude.
