    2. Loktak Lake

    When you come to Manipur, most people are attracted to the beautiful Loktak Lake. It is not just an attraction that makes people go “ga-ga” but way more than that.

    This is a freshwater lake situated approximately 48 km from the capital. It is a collection of small phumdis and islands. The primary enjoyable thing to do here is boating and photography. We have already introduced the quantum of beauty that this lake holds. The opening timings of Loktak Lake is between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. You will just need 2 hours to explore the entire lake.

    The entire lake spreads over 300 sq. mt. There are no charges that you will have to pay and to enjoy here there are multiple popular activities. Travelers can enjoy a picnic, boating, and photography around the lake.

    3. Keibul Lamjao National Park

    Visiting Manipur means you are up for a charismatic time amidst the diversity of flora and fauna. And one such amazing place to visit offering the right balance between these is the Keibul Lamjao National Park.

    This park is home to one of the rarest species of deer named Eld’s Deer. This is spotted in this park with a number of other species of animals, plants, and birds. Take a tour of the national park when you visit here.

    The timing to visit Keibul Lamjao National Park is between 9 am and 6 pm. It takes about 4 hours to enjoy and explore the entire national park and you don’t have to pay any entry fee as well. Enjoy a trek at the trails in the park and spot some rare species of flora and fauna here. Keibul Lamjao National Park is also popular for migratory birds.

    Manipur being a part of the seven sisters boasts an amazing nature setup. One of the finest destinations that would remind you of the English countryside is Ukhrul.

    Moirang is a small town situated 45 km towards the south of Imphal. The nature beauty of this place is phenomenal and breathtaking. This amazing town comes under the Bishnupur district and has some ancient and historic temples.
