Azure lagoons, secluded beaches, tranquil beaches, and a beautiful virgin environment; can you imagine these things in Goa and that too at multiple places. South Goa is where you will find some amazing secluded beaches and some secret places as well. Not that they haven’t been explored but only a few people know about it and even fewer have visited here.

While you visit these hidden or secret beaches in South Goa, you will be left amused (this is the least). So while we give you the secluded places to visit in South Goa, get your DSLR and action camera ready for a hard time.

List of best secret beaches in South Goa

    1. Butterfly Beach

Butterfly beach is not just a beach but a complete island off the coast of South Goa. One has to take a ferry to reach here. It is an unexplored destination having a lot of isolated attractions to visit.

Apart from the beautiful butterflies that flock throughout the beach, you will also get to see dolphins and crabs. The lush green jungle gives you a good trek time. The white sand, unspoiled beach, and wonderful environment are what you are going to get at the least.

    2. Kakolem Beach or Tiger Beach

It won’t be wrong if you define Kakolem Beach as a small paradise in South Goa. This beach is approximately 7 km off the Cabo De Rama resort which is a top-notch place to stay in South Goa.

    4. Velsao Beach

Velsao Beach is probably the finest gem of Goa and the main reason is that not many people love visiting here. The silver sand and seashells make the entire place amazing and what’s left in terms of natural beauty is taken care of by the starfish and freshwater lakes.

This beach is quite near to the Dabolim Airport and those on vacation or on rejuvenating trips to Goa can visit here for a complete day. A lot of visitors have named Velsao Beach as the most romantic beach in Goa because it gives the couple ample time to talk and enjoy the beauty of the place. Won’t find such a setting at many beaches here. This beach is approximately 25 km from Panaji and it takes about half an hour to reach here. It is really quiet here and if you are an avid birdwatcher you will definitely love this place because there are a lot of different species of birds around. There are a few bars and eateries around. Visitors can also enjoy snorkeling and swimming.

    5. Bogmalo Beach

If you are a nature lover, then Bogmalo Beach is the place where you should be heading without any doubt. The place is surrounded by lush green forests, azure lakes, and some villages.

    6. Cola Beach

You must be already astonished with the number of which we have listed above that are secretive. With this, we mean to say that the South Goa beaches are not as popular as the other ones be it in South Goa or in North Goa. One more that adds to the list is the cola beach. This is an amazing place that has started luring people due to its shimmering lakes and pristine environment.

    7. Agonda Beach

Agonda Beach is not just a hidden gem of South Goa but way more than that. It is one of the least visited places which is why it is still as beautiful as new. Currently, there are just a handful of people who know about this place and wish to visit here. There are no shacks, restaurants, or other staying or eating places because it is still to draw people.
